Building Blocks of Hope: The Race to a Million Challenge for Think Pink: Bahrain Breast Cancer Society.

As we celebrate the monumental journey of 20 years of Think Pink: Bahrain Breast Cancer Society, founded by Dr. Julie Sprakel in 2004, we honor our commitment to awareness, education, and research in the fight against breast cancer in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Starting with an initial donation of over BD 120,000, our society has grown from supporting the National Mammography Drive to becoming the only standalone breast cancer specific NGO in Bahrain, working closely with the Ministry of Social Development, NHRA, SCH, and the Ministry of Health.

Our journey, which began with a single event to mark our founder's 30th birthday has blossomed into a nationwide awareness campaign, raising over $US 3.5 million for awareness, education, and research funds. Our volunteers and members, guided by our founder's vision and our collaborative governance, have been the backbone of our achievements.

The Race to a Million Challenge: A Symbol of Collective Hope.

This year we embark on an innovative initiative: The Race to a Million Challenge. Our goal is to sell over a million blocks/bricks to create a giant symbol of hope and resilience - the Charity's Trademark icheck logo. This campaign is not just about building a sculpture; it's about laying down the building blocks of hope, piece by piece, for every individual facing breast cancer.
